Overview
Health Administration 235: Introduction to Health Administration is a project course that students normally take following completion of prerequisite courses. The project components, which help consolidate students’ learning, are submitted and stored in an e-Portfolio.
The activities and assignments in HADM 235 help students to situate themselves within the field of health administration and in the Health Administration program. Self-reflective activities help students identify and build on their strengths and address limitations. They develop a personal learning plan that will serve as a guide as they strive to meet the program outcomes and their specific learning goals related to their areas of interest.
Students in HADM 235 will self-assess educational goals in relation to their previous learning and experience and their future educational and professional goals. The development of a research paper on a topic in health administration helps students strengthen their library skills, research skills, and scholarly writing skills.

Evaluation
To receive credit for HADM 235, you must complete all assessments and achieve a course composite grade of at least D (50 percent). The weighting of the composite grade is as follows:
