Welcome to the course on developing leadership skills for the future of work! As you reflect on your past work experiences, numerous factors contributed to where you are now, including your education, skills, interpersonal relationships, and the opportunities you embraced. This course is about self-leadership, development, and growth, based on a growth mindset. You are at the centre.

The overall aim of this course is to help students develop essential leadership skills and capabilities needed to navigate uncertainty, complexity, and change in future work environments through self-reflection and experiential learning.

This course covers both the theory and the practice of leadership development in VUCA contexts, integrating research-based frameworks like the 2025 Skills Horizon with hands-on skill-building in areas such as psychological safety, cultural intelligence, learning agility, and collaborative change leadership.
