Introduction

Individual students or small groups of students may conduct readings under a faculty member's supervision in one or two selected areas.

Students are encouraged to approach a faculty member and ask for the faculty member's assistance in identifying reading areas. Students wishing to then enroll in a directed reading course must submit a learning contract (approved by the faculty supervisor) to the Director of the Graduate Program in Integrated Studies.

Athabasca University reserves the right to amend course outlines occasionally and without notice. Courses offered by other delivery methods may vary from their individualized-study counterparts.

Opened in Revision 1, September 1, 2001.
