Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is the largest faculty at Athabasca University, with a wide variety of programs and courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Programs available at the graduate level are:
- Master of Arts – Interdisciplinary Studies (MA-IS)
- Graduate Diploma – Legislative Drafting (GDLD)
- Graduate Diploma – Heritage Resources Management (GD:HRM)
- Doctor of Education – Distance Education (EdD)
- Master of Education – Open, Digital, and Distance Education (MEd)*
- Graduate Diploma – Distance Education Technology (GDDET)
- Graduate Diploma – Instructional Design* (GDID)
- Graduate Certificate – Instructional Design* (GCID)
- Graduate Certificate – Technology-Based Learning (GCTBL)
NOTE: *As of September 1, 2020, Alberta Advanced Education has renamed the Master of Education – Distance Education to Master of Education – Open, Digital and Distance Education.
