e-Portfolio development

The standard format for portfolio submission is an e-Portfolio, developed through an electronic portfolio-building site.

Athabasca University is implementing a new state-of-the-art electronic portfolio platform, PebblePad. This platform allows the upload and presentation of documents and files in a secure site. Current PLAR students will submit their completed portfolio content in PebblePad to CLA for assessment.

Once your mentor has determined you are eligible to build your e-Portfolio, you will be provided with access to PebblePad and instructions on how to use it.

You can view a sample student e-Portfolio online that demonstrates what a completed portfolio in PebblePad will look like.

Alternative submission routes must be negotiated with your mentor.

NOTE: All PLAR students with content in the former e-Portfolio platform, Mahara, will receive an email from CLA outlining their options to maintain their Portfolio content before the platform is decommissioned. If you have questions about how the decommissioning of Mahara impacts you, please contact your PLAR mentor at plar@athabscau.ca.
