Centre for Science – Graduate course exam information

The following graduate courses have online exams:

BIOL 520

When you're ready to take your exam, follow this 2-step process to book with AU.

1. Book your exam with an AU-approved invigilator at least 10 days before your chosen exam date. You must write your exam before your course contract ends.
2. After your invigilator confirms your appointment, submit your exam request using the graduate student Exam Request Form at least 10 days before your exam date.

Supplemental exams

Graduate students are allowed 1 supplemental exam for each written invigilated exam. No supplemental exam will be available for take-home exams. The higher of the 2 marks (original or supplemental) will be used to calculate your final course grade.

To request a supplemental exam, complete and submit the Exam Request Form. You must request your supplemental no later than 1 month after the original exam write date. The supplemental exam must be written within 1 month of submitting the form.

There is a supplemental exam processing fee.

If you do not write your supplemental exam, you cannot request it again, and the fee is non-refundable.
