Tara Friesen of AU’s alumni and community relations team joins the Athabasca University Students’ Union Open Mic podcast
On June 17, almost 1,900 graduates joined Athabasca University’s (AU) alumni family as the community came together to celebrate the Class of 2022.
Convocation ceremonies may have concluded, but that doesn’t mean the learning journey is over, says Tara Friesen, manager of alumni and community engagement at AU.
“Your AU journey isn’t over upon graduation; you just enter a different phase,” explains Friesen. “We hope that graduates continue to learn from one another and even share their experiences with others as they continue down their career or academic path.”
Friesen recently joined the Athabasca University Students’ Union podcast, Open Mic, to explain what it means to be an AU alum.
Friesen was joined by host and AUSU executive director Jodi Campbell, and former AUSU executive member Leah Campbell.
