Momna Zubair

Momna is a Student Support Administrator at FST, which means she’s part problem-solver, part guide, and part “let me help you figure this out before it becomes stressful.” With over five years of experience in post-secondary education and a Master’s in Economics, she’s great at untangling questions, calming nerves, and pointing people in the right direction.

She joined Athabasca University in 2022 and quickly became known as someone who actually enjoys helping people. If there’s a process to explain, a form to find, or a student who needs reassurance, Momna is your person.

Outside of work, she loves to have time spent with her kids and a husband. She has lived and travelled across the globe with almost 16 years spent in Canada, she has travelled and lived in Pakistan, Dubai, Saudia Arabia, UK, US, Australia and Mexico. She finds beauty in mundane- unhurried walks, laughing way too hard with her kids, making new weekend traditions, and occasionally perfecting the art of doing absolutely nothing.
