Welcome to Athabasca University Library

The AU Library team of librarians and staff are dedicated to assisting learners to succeed in courses and programs. The library collection has been developed to support AU’s curriculum, and includes scholarly resources, like journal databases, ebooks, print books, and other materials, such as maps and streaming audiovisual materials. You can access these materials using the library website.

On our website, you can also find the tutorials and guides created by AU librarians and staff. These resources are designed to help you navigate the research process and library resources. The library also provides regular webinars focused on orientation to the library, using specific library tools and resources, and on specific subjects.

Library Information Desk staff are available to assist you with conducting research for assignments, loaning materials from the library’s physical collection, and in learning how to use the library’s online resources. You can contact library staff by email, phone, chat or by filling out a web form. We are always happy to assist.
