Important first steps

  1. Disable your pop-up blocker!
If you click the eText link on your course front page and you can't see the eText, follow these instructions: How to disable pop-up blockers (Firefox, Chrome, IE, and Safari only).
  2. Click on the eText link and accept the license agreement to access your eText online.
  3. If you want to be able to access the eText offline, on other computers/mobile devices, or after your access to your course website has expired, follow these steps:
    • Step 1: Create an account. You can create an account any time before your course contract expires.
    • Step 2: Install VitalSource Bookshelf Downloadable.
    • Step 3: Download the eText.

If you plan to update your system software, you will have to deactivate your device (see the VitalSource article Managing Device Activations) and sign in again.
