MBA program structure
Phase One
Five foundational courses covering the main business functions and building upon each other.
Phase Two
Three core advanced courses solidify students’ holistic, organizational view of the senior management function.
Phase Two core courses:
- Ethical Decision Making
- Managerial Economics and Finance
- Business Analytics for Strategic Decision Making
Students who complete Phase 1 core courses (15 credits) and one specialized core course from Phase 2 (3 credits), selected from:
- Ethical Decision Making
- Managerial Economics and Finance
- Business Analytics for Strategic Decision Making
Will be awarded the Graduate Diploma - Management (GDM).
Phase Three
Students complete 18 elective credits. Elective courses may be either 3 or 6 credits in value, delivered in various formats, including online and in-residence options, and grouped into 4 specialized streams and 1 customized stream to support focused career development:
- IT and Digital Strategy Stream
- Strategy, Organizational Behaviour, and Leadership Stream
- Technology, Innovation, and Operations Stream
- Finance, Economics, and Banking Stream
- Customized Stream
In-residence electives are 6 credits and can be taken in lieu of two, 3 credit electives.
Capstone
To conclude the program, you will complete a 6-credit capstone project, designed to integrate learning across all phases and apply it to a real-world strategic business challenge.
Students may select one of four pathways based on their professional goals and interests:
- Primary Business Research Project Design
- Simulation
- Consultancy Project
- Applied Project
