Overview

This course provides an introduction to communication skills within the context of feminist counselling theory and practice. The course focuses particularly on increasing communications knowledge and skills, and developing beginning counselling. Emphasis is placed on enhancing self-awareness, skill development, and understanding of counsellors’ roles and responsibilities.

Evaluation

To receive credit for WMST 302, students must achieve a course composite grade of at least "D" (50 percent). The weighting of the composite grade is as follows:
