Overview

This course provides an introduction to communication skills within the context of feminist counselling, emphasizing the micro-skills of communication and process rather than content. Experiential exercises will be used to practise a variety of basic skills and to further students' development of their personal counselling style

Evaluation

To receive credit for WMST 302, students must achieve a course composite grade of at least "D" (50 percent).

Paper on Ethics

Course Materials

The course materials include a student manual and a book of readings. A videotape will be sent to each audioconference site (not individual students).
