Specific issues such as premenstrual syndrome, contraception, childbirth, reproductive technologies, estrogen replacement therapy, breast cancer, Candidiasis, pelvic inflammatory disease, and workplace hazards are explored within a framework that seeks to explain why women have little control over their health.
