Esmail Bharwani (BAdmin 1992) has issued a challenge to the AU alumni community: let's come together to raise as much money as we can to fund the AU First in Family Awards. These awards support AU program students who will be the first in their family to earn a post-secondary credential.
This transformative achievement will ripple through generations — we know that one of the strongest predictors of a student's success in university is whether one of their parents went to university. Let's help our first in family students get there and set up future generations for success as well!
Until midnight (Mountain) on December 31, 2023, Bharwani will match up to $20 for the first 100 individuals to donate, increasing the impact of your gift and making this a true community initiative.
The personal information that you provide on this form is collected under Section 33(c) of Alberta’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP Act).
