About Development and Alumni Engagement

We work closely with friends and supporters - individuals, families, groups, corporations, foundations and other funding organizations - to help Athabasca University remove barriers that restrict access to and success in university-level studies and to increase equality of educational opportunity for adult learners worldwide.

Through a variety of fundraising initiatives including donations, sponsorships and grants, we help AU continue offering excellent teaching, programs, learning resources, technology and research.

Our goals are to:

• foster lifelong relationships with alumni and friends of the University
• increase action and diversify the University's sources of funding
• secure the funding needed to support people, programs and infrastructure

The Development and Alumni Engagement Office is a department of University Relations.
