Nominate someone
Know an Athabasca University graduate or student who deserves recognition? Nominate them for an AU Alumni Award and help celebrate their achievements.
How to nominate
It’s easy to submit a nomination:
- Review the award criteria and explain how the nominee meets the requirements
- Complete the nomination form below
- Submit supporting materials if available (for example, a resume, article, or letter of support)
What to include
In the nomination form, you should describe:
- how the nominee meets the award criteria
- their achievements in their work or community
- how their work makes them an inspiration to AU students and alumni
Important details
Please note:
- you do not need to be an AU graduate to submit a nomination
- nominations are reviewed annually
- nominations remain eligible for two years
- previous award recipients are not eligible for re-nomination
- self-nominations are not accepted; if you’d like to be considered, you can ask a colleague, peer, or acquaintance to nominate you
Nomination deadline
Submit your nomination by March 31, 2026.
