Ms. Sharon Anderson, Public Member

Ms. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary, and a Social Work Diploma from MacEwan University. Through her own experience she has come to realize the importance of education and is passionate about better educational outcomes for Indigenous people.

She has been involved in numerous community and provincial organizations including the local school board, the Northern Alberta Development Council, Region 10 Metis Settlements Child and Family Services, the Provincial Aboriginal Advisory Committee, and the Metis Women's Council on Economic Development. Sharon resides in the Gift Lake Metis Settlement.
