Dr. Roger Morrill, Public Member

Dr. Roger Morrill currently maintains a full-time dental practice of over forty years in the Town of Athabasca.  He is an active member in an area family farm, that he along with his wife, established over forty years ago.

 Dr. Morrill has served several terms on Athabasca town council, with two full terms of that time in the office of mayor.  During those council years he served on various boards and committees and was provided opportunities to work with local individuals, groups, institutions, neighboring municipalities along with provincial and federal governments.

 His post-secondary degrees include a Bachelor of Science (with distinction) and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Alberta. Dr. Morrill is the past recipient of the Diamond Jubilee medal for his community service and is a strong proponent of regional collaboration and cooperation.
