Mr. Robert Balay, Public Member

Mr. Balay is a Councillor for the Town of Athabasca. He has over 34 years experience as a Public Works and Utilities Superintendent and as a Manager of Recreational Services. Mr. Balay has extensive experience in project management; financial matters; financial reporting; and strategic planning.

Robert's commitment to his community is evidenced by the positions he has held including fundraising chair for the Athabasca Regional Multiplex project and President of the Rotary Club of Athabasca. He is currently the chairman for the new Aquatic and Fitness Center Design Review Committee project; serves as a Deacon for the Athabasca Reformed Congregation; and serves on the Board of Directors of Seeds of Hope Children's Ministry. Mr. Balay resides in Athabasca, Alberta.
