Ms. Carmen Griffin, Undergraduate Student Member

Ms. Carmen Griffin is a project management and operations leader with experience delivering complex infrastructure and organizational initiatives across the public sector. She serves as Equity, Belonging and Reconciliation Councillor with the Athabasca University Students' Union and is committed to advancing inclusive governance and student success.

Her experience includes working with Indigenous communities, building collaborative relationships, and incorporating equity considerations into project planning and decision-making. She has led major infrastructure projects, including the internationally recognized Tłı̨chǫ All-Season Road, recipient of a Global Best Project award.

Ms. Griffin is currently completing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Athabasca University. As an immigrant and mother of two, she brings a perspective shaped by resilience, lifelong learning, and a commitment to creating inclusive environments where diverse voices are valued.
