Overview
HIST 225 provides a survey of Canada's political, social, and economic development from 1867 to the present. The course focuses on the impact of social developments on political changes as well as vice versa.

- Unit 2: Economy and Society in the Industrial Age, 1867–1914
- Unit 3: Booms, Busts, and Wars, 1914–1945
- Unit 4: Reinventing Canada, 1945–1975
- Unit 5: Post-Modern Canada, 1976–2014
Evaluation
To receive credit for HIST 225, you must complete all of the assignments, achieve a mark of at least 50 percent on the final examination, and obtain a course composite grade of at least D (50 percent). The weighting of the course assignments is as follows:

The final examination for this course must be taken online with an AU-approved exam invigilator at an approved invigilation centre.
