Internal Award Funding
In light of recent developments related to COVID-19, many research funding agencies have postponed competition deadlines. Please visit the funding agency website for updated information before initiating a research funding application. Please contact us at research@athabascau.ca for information.
Also, please note that the release of competition results may be delayed.
In all cases, it’s best to submit your funding application as soon as you are able. Requests for revisions may occur and may take longer to complete than you expect. Faculty and staff applying for grantsmanship mentoring (external funding only) will need to submit a draft application even earlier.
All applications must be submitted through the Research Portal.
Internal awards
If a deadline falls on a weekend or statutory holiday, the deadline becomes the next business day.
Please note: Some awards have more than one application period. If you miss a deadline for one of these awards you must reapply. Your application will not be carried over.
