MLA provides a standardized way to format documents, give credit to others’ ideas, and present information clearly and understandably. By attending this webinar, students will learn how to format a title page, headings, and figures in their MLA style papers; document a variety of source types correctly through in-text citations and Works Cited entries; and paraphrase and quote with accuracy and ease. As students grow in their confidence in using MLA, they will begin to appreciate that they and their work are part of a community of academics researching and writing in numerous disciplines within the Humanities.
