Holiday Closures
Athabasca University is closed for holidays on the following dates:
- Noon on December 24, 2018 through January 1, 2018: closed for holidays.
- Full operations will resume at 8:30 a.m. MT on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

A note about December exams
A courtesy reminder to all students with a course contract end date of December 31, 2018: AU will be closed for the holidays at noon on Monday December 24, and will reopen on Tuesday, January 2, 2019.
Examination requests that are received prior to the University closure for courses with a course contract end date of December 31 are allowed additional time to write their examinations without being charged the Late Exam Fee. Exams requested prior to the University closure for courses with a contract end date of December 31 must be completed no later than January 15 of the following year. Find more details here.
