AU launches new student orientation
Athabasca University’s new online orientation for undergraduate students is now available at orientation.athabascau.ca.
We have heard from many AU students that our previous online orientation wasn’t meeting their needs and didn’t reflect our university’s vision to inspire, build, and support a culture of innovation and contribute to the reimagining of the learning experience at AU.
So earlier this year, we embarked on Phase 1 of a two-phase project to better meet those needs.
We’re excited to share the first phase of our new Welcome & Orientation platform, which is designed to provide undergraduate students with an overview of the university. This includes things like what courses and programs we offer, what services and supports are available, how to register, and other important things you may need to know as an undergraduate student at AU.
We are planning for the second phase of the orientation, which will include information, resources, and support services geared toward graduate students. We will post updates as they become available.
In the meantime, check out the new orientation here, and feel free to send us your comments, questions, and feedback to orientation@athabascau.ca.
