Dr. Joaquin Gaete-Silva is an Academic Coordinator at AU. He is a Registered Psychologist in Alberta and holds a position as an Associate Director at the Calgary Family Therapy Centre (www.familytherapy.org), where he also practices family counselling and clinical supervision. He is interested in practicing, teaching and researching counselling practices as a vehicle to promote human development, wellbeing, peace, and social justice. His research is informed by cultural and discursive psychology, focusing on problematic disruptive behavior, successful therapeutic processes and clinical supervision.
