Is there an order in which courses should be taken?

Athabasca University courses may be taken in any order unless a prerequisite is required. It is recommended that program students begin with required courses or electives as specified within your program requirements. As a guideline, the higher the course number, the higher the academic level of a course.

Advising Services can assist you in clarifying your undergraduate program requirements and choosing the next course for your program of studies. Our program plans can also help you in planning your program.
