Ask in the form of a question, such as "When do your courses start?"

Our closest match to your question:

How many students are allowed in a course?

In most Athabasca University courses, there is no maximum number of students allowed. However, course registration may be affected by the availability of course materials.

If you are placed on a waiting list or queue because of a shortage of course materials, your fees will be receipted, and your registration will be placed in the course request queue of your student file. Your registration will automatically move to active status when the course becomes available.

If you do not wish to remain on the queue, you can get a full refund of course fees or switch to a different course. Contact Enrolment Services at or call 780-675-6949.
