Does AU offer honours degrees?

While Athabasca University does not offer any honours degrees, we do automatically consider undergraduate students for graduation with distinction or great distinction. Our bachelor’s degrees provide you with a broad, rigorous education in which you develop your knowledge base, exercise your critical thinking skills, and build on these abilities. In addition, AU’s four-year degrees will fully prepare you for most graduate programs.

Honours List

Undergraduate program students who have achieved a GPA of 3.60 or higher in the last 30 credits of their program qualify for the Honours List. This list is published twice a year by the Office of the Registrar.
