Our closest match to your question:

Do all AU students get an email address?

All Athabasca University undergraduate students and most graduate students are issued an email address within two business days of enrollment in an AU course.

This email is offered and supported by Microsoft™ and includes access to the Office 365 suite of online services including email, calendar, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive. You can also install the Microsoft™ Office Suite on up to 5 personal computers.

Student accounts will remain active until about 18 months after your most recent course end date. Notifications will be sent to your account before this date. In the unlikely event, AU or Microsoft™ discontinues this offering; we will provide as much notice as possible.
