Dr. Anupriya Singh is an accomplished scholar and educator with extensive teaching experience in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She holds a doctorate in performance management from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, India, earned in 2010. Before joining Athabasca University, she held academic appointments at Nipissing University, the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph, and the Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi. Dr. Singh has also been a Visiting Scholar at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She has taught a broad range of undergraduate and graduate courses in organizational behavior and human resource management and has contributed to executive education and professional development initiatives.
Her research examines the organizational and relational processes through which workplaces influence employee engagement, well-being, and performance. Her scholarship seeks to advance understanding of how organizational practices and systems can be designed to create productive and engaging workplaces. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals in human resource management and organizational studies, including journals recognized in the ABDC Journal Quality List.
As an educator, Dr. Singh is committed to creating engaging, inclusive, and application-oriented learning experiences that connect theory with contemporary organizational practice. Her teaching interests include human resource management, organizational behavior, human resource planning, training and development, employee performance management, and recruitment and selection. She draws on innovative pedagogical approaches and real-world applications to encourage critical thinking, practical problem-solving, and meaningful student learning. She has also designed and facilitated executive education programs on leadership development, conflict management, communication, and negotiation.
