Overview

Women's Studies 345: Women and Work in Canada explores the changing nature of the work—paid and unpaid—done by women in Canada. Studying work from both historical and contemporary perspectives allows us to identify accomplishments and setbacks, measure progress, and pinpoint areas where further change is needed. Although this course focuses on women in Canada, increasing world globalization requires that we compare women's work in Canada with that of other countries.

Evaluation

To receive credit for WMST 345, you must complete three written assignments and receive a course composite grade of at least "D" (50 percent). The weighting of the composite grade is as follows:
