At Athabasca University
I currently hold the position of Manager, Financial Reporting in
Financial Services on the main campus located in Athabasca,
Alberta, Canada. I have been with the University since July 1995 and I
appreciate the complexity involved with this challenging position
dealing
with the finances of the University as a whole. Athabasca University
possesses
a very stimulating learning atmosphere that contributes towards a
positive
work environment.
I admire the students and staff at the University for
their dedication
and commitment to life long learning. I experienced first hand the
discipline
essential to "earn and learn" as I used distance education to obtain
the
necessary senior level of educational courses required for a Certified
General Accountant designation. I belong to the Certified
General Accountant's Association of Alberta (CGA Alberta) and of Canada
(CGA Canada).
