Student Representation

AU students are represented on all significant AU decision-making bodies including:

• Athabasca University Academic Council – makes all academic decisions
• Student Academic Appeals – student appeals are made to and decided on by this body
• Student Academic Awards – scholarships and award decisions
• Budget Advisory Committee – advisory to the President
• Student Services Group – includes managers from all Student Services departments
• AU consults with AU Students' Union (AUSU) in the selection of student representatives to some of these bodies. If you would like to be involved, contact AUSU.
