Systems
(FinProg)
The
Administrative
Systems
unit
maintains and develops finance and HR
applications used by
University staff. We are located in the
Administration
department where we are best able to serve our
end-user needs. We
work closely with the central Computing Services
department to handle
our operational, web, and database requirements.
Some of AU's systems maintained by the Administrative Systems unit include CODA Financials, Empath HRIS, Cognos Enterprise Planning (CEP), AU Purchasing system (AU Pur) and online AU Expense Claims (AUEX). We develop and maintain several smaller applications which generally report on, or integrate the larger ones.
The Administrative Systems group maintains a systems development plan which closely follows the goals of the Strategic University Plan (SUP). Our daily work consists of maintenance of the existing systems as well as project work on our systems development plan.
