Telephone Quizzes 1 and 2 (10% each)

When you reach the appropriate point in your course work, the Study Guide will direct you to contact your tutor and ask to take the Social Science 378 Quiz. You can take these quizzes, which are worth at total of 20 percent of your final grade, either verbally by telephone or, with your tutor's permission, by submitting your responses to the quiz questions via e-mail. The first quiz should be done after you have completed Unit 1; the second quiz should be done after you have completed Unit 6.

Each quiz is based on the learning objectives cited for the units it covers and, together, they are intended to ensure that you are comprehending the course content as you proceed from one unit to the next. Your tutor will ask for your responses to various questions relating to the material covered and then provide you with immediate feedback. You will also have an opportunity to re-respond to any questions you might have missed. Keep in mind that these quizzes offer excellent preparation for the final examination.

Note: Any quizzes not completed by the end of your course contract date will receive a grade of zero (0).
