To receive credit for Social Science 378, you must write an invigilated, closed-book, final examination that covers the range of themes and topics presented throughout the course. It consists of several short-answer questions and three short-essay questions, which are based on the learning objectives listed for the eight units. In preparing for this exam you should thoroughly review the course content, paying particular attention to the learning objectives and study questions for each unit. You should also review any comments you may have received on your graded, written assignments.
You will have a maximum of three (3) hours to write the exam. No notes, textbooks, or hand-held computers are allowed in the examination room. This examination, which is worth 20 percent of your final grade, should be taken after you have completed the learning activities for all units and received feedback from your tutor on all your written assignments.
