Students who approach their studies in a systematic and organized manner are more likely to complete the course successfully than those who do not plan a course of action for themselves. Therefore, a suggested study schedule is provided to assist you in budgeting your time and monitoring your progress.
To successfully complete this course, you should commit to a fixed amount of study time per week (e.g., 6 hours per week). The course will probably take about 120-140 hours of your time, though this can vary from student to student. The chart below presents a suggested 20-week study schedule.
Be sure to call or email your tutor if you have difficulty with the material or if you are unable to adhere to the schedule as suggested. If you find yourself falling behind in your course work, contact your tutor immediately. She or he will be able to advise you as to what options are available to you. You may, of course, proceed more quickly than is suggested by this study schedule.
Note: Students who are receiving financial assistance may face certain time constraints. If your registration places a restriction on the length of time to complete the course, be prepared to adjust your study schedule accordingly.
