Unit 1 of this Study Guide provides a review of the mathematical operations you must be able to do in order to complete Mathematics 244 successfully. The topics reviewed include

Objectives

  3. Convert fractions to decimals, decimals to fractions, and use properties of basic operations to simplify fractional arithmetic expressions.
  4. Perform basic arithmetic operations using percentages.
  5. Calculate simple weighted averages.
