Mathematics 101 or Mathematics 100?

Some topics are covered in both Mathematics 101 and Mathematics 100. However, in Mathematics 100, the approach and coverage are more basic than in Mathematics 101. Mathematics 100 is designed for people who want to brush up on some math skills before entering a program of studies that does not require a Pure Math 30 equivalent.

Mathematics 101 has more in-depth coverage and greater sophistication in its approach. It also contains a unit on functions of a single variable which is challenging, but, if successfully completed, allows a relatively easy transition to virtually any introductory university-level mathematics course.
