For this assignment, students must choose one of four essay questions and complete a précis and an essay. A précis is a short outline (1–2 pages) that contains the essential points that your paper will cover; it is worth 5% of the final course grade, and it should be submitted after Unit 7. The essay should be 18–20 pages long; it is worth 70% of the final course grade and should be submitted after Unit 11. All quoted or borrowed material from case law or other sources must include proper citation references. AU students are expected to adhere rigorously to principles of intellectual integrity.
