A case comment is a focused analysis of a decision. For this assignment, students must write a 5- to 7-page case comment, written in full sentences and paragraphs, on one of two cases provided. All quoted or borrowed material from case law or other sources must include proper citation references. This assignment, worth 15% of the final course grade, should be submitted with a TME form after completing Unit 6.

Both cases can be found at the Supreme Court of Canada decisions website, at the links given below. You can find hard copies of the case in any library which carries law reporters.
