Your answers to the following questions should show evidence that you have understood the issues discussed by the authors whose articles you have read.

You must answer Questions 1 and 2; in addition, you must answer three (3) of Questions 3, 4, 5, and 6. Note that your answers for each of Questions 2-6 should not exceed two pages in length.

2. Frideres identifies seven attributes of colonization process. Discuss each of these attributes. (15 marks)
3. Discuss the concept of Aboriginal self-government. (20 marks)
4. Government structures that affect Aboriginal peoples vary from country to country. The hierarchical model and the multi-level model are among the types of structures discussed by Rudnicki and Dyck. What are the main differences between these models? (20 marks)
5. How have the Inuit and Cree peoples adapted to the internal colonialism imposed upon them? (20 marks)
6. Describe the main economic development strategies currently implemented by Aboriginal people on Indian reserves. (20 marks)
