Part One: Course Pamphlet

Introduction

This Course Pamphlet introduces students to an independent study course, what a project course in the Human Services involves, and the roles and responsibilities of the program coordinator, project supervisor, and student. It describes the learning contract, a project proposal and how students apply to enrol in the course. It also provides the method of evaluation, a recommended schedule of events, and contact names for further information. In effect, the Course Pamphlet makes up Part One of the Student Manual in Project Design I. Once students' application to enrol in HSRV 455 has been accepted by the Program Coordinator, students register in the course, and then receive the Student Manual. Part One of the Student Manual is the same as this Course Pamphlet.
