The “To the Student” section in the preface of the Wie geht’s? textbook describes the organization of the chapters. Please read this section now.

Each chapter is organized in the same sequence. The weekly schedule below follows the organization of the textbook. Begin with the Schritte in week one and work through the course materials in the order given here.

The textbook contains exercises designed for oral classroom practice and other exercises for written practice. Complete these exercises on your own and check them against the “Answers to Practice Exercises in the Textbook” section at the back of the Student Manual. Some questions require a personal response; we provide no answers for these. Some of the written exercises have been assigned as Tutor Marked Written Exercises (TMWE) to be submitted to your tutor for credit. There are no answers given for the TMWE questions.
