You should be prepared to devote the time necessary to complete the various activities in this course, which includes reading actively and critically, writing succinct, critical answers to unit analyses and study questions, and researching and writing academic papers that are critical and integrative.

To receive credit for this course, you must achieve a grade of at least 50 per cent on the final examination and achieve a course composite grade of at least 50 per cent. You are not required to complete all the assignments to pass this course, but it is highly recommended that you do. If you choose not to complete one or more of your assignments, please notify your tutor of your choice. Should you write the final examination without having completed all the assignments, your tutor will assume that you have chosen not to complete the outstanding assignments and enter a mark of 0 unless you advise your tutor otherwise. Completing the final examination is mandatory for all students.
