To receive credit for English 308, you must complete three written assignments and take a final examination. The weightings for each assignment and the exam are as follows:

Your final grade is determined by a weighted average of the grades you receive on these activities. To receive credit for this course at Athabasca University, you must achieve a minimum grade of 50% (D) on the final exam and an average grade of at least 50% (D), based on the assignments. However, other post-secondary institutions may require a higher average grade for purposes of transfer credit. You are advised not to write the final exam until you have received feedback on all three written assignments.
