Students who approach their studies in a systematic and organized manner are more likely to complete their courses successfully than are those who do not plan their activities. We advise you, therefore, to follow a study schedule to assist you in budgeting your time and scheduling your progress.
The study schedule given below is suggested to help you organize your activities and complete the course in about eighteen weeks. This time frame is in line with those for similar courses in conventional universities, and allows you some leeway, in case an unforeseen event interrupts your studies. You may, of course, proceed more quickly, or more slowly, than is suggested by this study schedule. However, you will be required to submit your final assignment within six months of your “start date.” See the Athabasca University Calendar
for details.
