Your final grade in Biology 235: Human Anatomy and Physiology is based on the grades you achieve in four quizzes, four tutor-marked exercises, and four examinations. The “Study Schedule” in the Student Manual indicates when you should complete each quiz and assignment, and when you should write the examinations. Note that you must achieve a minimum passing grade of fifty per cent on each quiz and each tutor-marked exercise. If you do not obtain a grade of fifty per cent, you will be allowed to write only one alternative form of the quiz or exercise.
You must also achieve a minimum passing grade of fifty per cent on each examination. Students who do not achieve a minimum passing grade of fifty per cent on any of the examinations will be allowed to write only one supplemental examination. There is a fee for this service.
Note that you may not request a supplemental midterm examination after you have completed the final examination for the course. Note also that you must complete the appropriate quizzes and assignments before you will be allowed to write the subsequent examination.
